I normally prefer Original Equipment Manufacturer parts or OEM for replacement parts due to their engineering specs and quality of the replacement part. These filters are not official OEM's but I would argue though they are just as good if not better than the original. The fit is exact for a Type A replacement filter coupled with the price versus the OEM you can't go wrong.Look on the back of your Winix Air Purifier for a label if you're not sure of the correct filter size. See photos for example. These filters are Type A. While there may be some variance in the filter thickness, microns, these filters performed like the OEM's but at a much better price point.We have two different Winix Air Purifiers in use, one upstairs and the other downstairs in our home. I suffer from allergies and air pollution from a major roadway near our home. The Winix Purifiers do a great job at cleaning the air.When buying replacement filters I suggest comparing prices with the OEM replacement. When I purchased these filter they were on sale and were cheaper than the OEM version. However, at the time of this review the OEM was cheaper.Don't wait, always plan ahead for your disposable replacement parts. Waiting till you actually need the replacement part usually costs you more money because of the immediate need. Just shop ahead of time to get the best price and a quality replacement.

Not as many fins on it as the original name brand, or as many as the last brand I bought, ( 103 vs. 107 per section). Which means a bit less efficiency. Fit is fairly tight though so not a whole lot of leaked air around the edge. Fairly decent. I may go with one with a few more fins next time as more is better with surface area. But in all a decent price and the workmanship is pretty good on them.
