Of the four pack, three work fine. One was flickering and acting crazy. Even counting the dud, it still comes out to better price than all of my local hardware stores.

Due to positive reviews, I went against my better judgment and ordered these instead of Sylvania. I figured, they're lightbulbs based on a 100+ year old technology, so any company should be able to make them. Boy, was I wrong!After installing three bulbs in recessed lighting fixtures, two of them failed after less than an hour. One of them works again, for now, after switching it off for about 30 minutes and switching it on again. It's been on for 30 minutes so far. I am doing the same with the other one.I've had these recessed lighting fixtures for about 15 years, and never seen anything like this. But I always use Sylvania bulbs.This is the first and last time I buy anything other than Sylvania.Cheap or not, I had to move around furniture and clean up dust, paint chips, dead bugs, etc. that fall out of the fixtures. It's not something I do often.So now I need to spend more money on replacement bulbs AND another hour climbing up on a chair, replacing the bulbs, and cleaning up.I would only recommend these bulbs to cheapskate gamblers with lots of free time. You could win the lightbulb jackpot. I'm changing these out before they burn my home down... I don't trust them at all!!!Update: After a few weeks they started working without failure. Still, I would rather buy lightbulbs that just work.If your lights are failing, just wait a few weeks and they'll eventually work.
