They flex open easy enough to attach to a dry snorkel. The quick release works very well for connecting mask. Just received so I don’t know how well they’ll hold up. They seem well made. Would buy again and highly recommend.

One of my clips came with a deformed side. It probably won't hold up since it's hanging on with only one hook.The plastic is noticeably weaker than my original one and doesn't take much strength to open.

If you snorkel and never dive they are ok, but after coming up from the water, any little pressure will open it up

I have masks and snorkels that are many years old, and the only thing that wears out or breaks is the plastic clip that holds the snorkel in place on the mask strap. I've even had them unclip and fall to the sea floor. These clips are a great universal replacement. The price is right, and I have some spares in my snorkel bag now for when the next one breaks. (Note that none of these new ones have broken yet; it's the originals that always end up breaking.)
