These are strong enough to endure my beagle's rough housing and play. Others have broken quickly so that's important to me. But best of all of course is that they work! No fleas for my girl and it's much easier than drops or shots. Definitely a great value for the money, I'll be buying more.

My son's two terrier fiest mix dogs are outdoors all the time in 1/4 ac. lot chain linked fence. They were severely infested with fleas. Have 1 ac pond with fish so can't put out pesticides. I purchased these collars, received next day, placed on each dog. Two days have passed. Checked dogs and don't see any fleas. May be a few but in the coming days should eradicate rest without broad spectrum pesticides on outdoor grass. From my experience, and no visible side effects, I would highly recommend this name brand flea collar for any dog whether outdoors or indoors, large or small breeds, and I love the 8 mo. of protection though I will probably replace twice a year just to be safe. I'm sure the dogs are extremely happy not to be scratching and biting themselves all day long. GREAT PRODUCT. When I need more, I will definitely reorder this brand!! Also order 7+ worming. Received yesterday, administered today. Will wait to see how effective that product is before writing review. Thanks Amazon for such prompt delivery!!

I promise you I will give you zero -0 Stars if I could..This is the worst flea collar I have ever purchased(mad face)..I bought them for my Chihuahuas and it broke out the skin under ALL of their necks..It had to be the flea collars because there was nothing else on their skin, they are all house babies, and didn't wear a normal collar...as soon as I noticed that, I took the collars off of them and washed my Chihuahuas up nicely and put a little bit of Neosporin on the neck area, not the broken part...2 of my babies neck skin is back to it's original color, but the other 2 are still trying to heal..I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW TO NOT ORDER THESE COLLARS because it's going to break the dog's skin and cause them sores..the only good thing I can say about this is that it didn't have an odor to it..

I bought them for my two German shepherd dogs they had a lot of fleas and thanks to the collar they are free of fleas

I bought these for my dogs, & they work good. The only thing is the buckle is awful, it comes loose, so I have to keep checking them. I had no issue with rashes or sores from them. No fleas all summer, & only 2 ticks. And I live near the Pine Barrens. I will be buying them again.

We had just moved to a house with 12 acres and all woods. I couldn’t not get fleas or ticks to stay off of my dogs no matter what dips we put on them or how many times we washed them in special shampoo. We hadn’t tried any collars yet and for the price we thought we might as well try them. To our surprise the fleas completely disappeared and we only found one or 2 more ticks on our dogs compared to finding multiples in a week. Definitely worth the price.

I have not tried these yet. But, I got the same for my cats and they are not very effective.
