I really like these straps for a few reasons - they secure my older luggage so that if, by chance, I have a zipper failure while traveling my luggage is still secured shut and I don't have personal items scattered all over the place. I used 2 straps to secure my luggage - one lengthwise and one widthwise - and they worked very well!I like the fun color as well. It's my wife's favorite color and it is different enough that it makes identifying our luggage on the airport carousel very easy. Fast and easy luggage identification + luggage security make these straps winners in my book. They're strong, sturdy, stand up to travel so far, and were quite economical. I definitely recommend these!

I actually bought these for our 2 Xmas tree boxes. Color didn't matter. It holds my wife's stupid "extra" tree she had to have in its box easily. Makes storage easier as the box flaps won't open by themselves.

Put these on suitcases when traveling to Europe trough multiple airports. When we got them in Rome, found one strap was gone. Don't know if it broke, was removed by security. The remain straps made the return trip fine. Straps seems fine, but need to see if more vanish.

This was a travel accessory I didn't know existed, and now I will never travel without it. First, it's a lovely visual confirmation: from a distance, I can see a bag in the correct size/shape/color, but by being able to identify the two luggage straps crisscrossing the case, I know it's mine. And, obviously, when it gets closer, I confirm my luggage tag and confidently grab it off the carousel.Then, most importantly, I love the security of strapping my bags shut as a backup in case my zipper gets busted in transit. I have bought all new luggage in the last few years and done so much research. Without question, a common complaint in multiple negative reviews of suitcases is that "the zipper failed". Even on expensive, high-quality luggage, "the zipper failed." What is the solution to this potential nightmare? These luggage straps! Even if it's just a complete hail-mary effort, I wanted to at least try to ward off the absolute disaster of a zipper failure causing my suitcase to spew its contents in some airport or along a gorgeous cobblestone street. And I don't care how many people say "you can always find replacements for anything when you travel"-- it's not true! I've traveled plenty of places where I did not have easy access to affordable replacements of necessities while traveling! These straps are a very economical gamble that I'm so happy I took. Flying back into the States from a two-week European trip, I recovered my bag from the carousel...the luggage tag was hanging on by a literal thread and one of my luggage straps had a busted latch. But the other one was securely fastened, and I felt such comfort that I survived a potential baggage-handling disaster. I had stashed the extra straps in my carry-on, so I moved off to the side, pulled out the extra strap and secured my bag once again. Then I confidently checked my bag for the last leg home, and when I arrived, I picked up my easily identifiable bag, securely strapped and latched. To pay such a small price for a wonderful peace of mind is invaluable.

I can find my suitcase. It will help if the suitcase is overstuffed to keep the zipper together. I didn't realize it was a package of four, so it's twice as good a value as I was expecting. I choose not to buy the heavier straps with the combination lock. They can cut the strap if they want to get in, and I'm constantly pushing the weight limit. I want to keep my suitcase closed and spot it on the turnstile, and these straps fit the bill.

These are ok, the plastic is a bit brittle and weak, but they are a quick good option for anyone not using them in rough conditions.
