I have used these hooks on a weekly basis for 3 years for air drying laundry, and to hang heavy frequently-used heavy coats outside of the coat closet during the winter. My grandmother taught me that clothes last longer if you air dry them, so this is my version. They hold a lot of weight and look like new. I am very impressed.

Awesome hooks!I'm getting rid of my old over the door hangers on cumbersome racks and replacing them with these singular hooks.So much better!Only exception is that on the front door of the apartment, the hooks are maybe 1-2 millimeters not wide enough to go over the door. But they work great on all of the interior doors.

That means your closet, bedroom, or bathroom door may not close correctly with this installed and sticking out on the door jamb side of the door.It's thin enough to fit between the door and door jam if there's a reasonable gap (not if the door sticks). I couldn't get a lot of others to fit without interference. These do.Metal will hold lighter clothes without bending. Probably not a heavier jacket, bath robe or purse. Easily bent by hand.Also, this could've been a 6-pack (3 bags of 2 hooks in a box), but they chose 5 (2 bags of 2 hooks, and 1 bag of 1 hook). Caused some confusion. Almost returned because I thought one was missing. Now I'm kind of mad it wasn't there when it so easily could've been. Cheap.

I love these I use them on my bedroom closets for robes and stuff. They are very strong and I like the fact that they are singles and not a "tree" of hangers like the ones for coats so I can place them anywhere to keep them out of my way. I never used the screws even though that would make it more study because I like the option of taking them off and placing them somewhere else.
