I had bought a gate with my son worked great. I had lost the original 4 pieces to my baby gate by the time my daughter came along.These are great. Let me just say the original parts were not near as nice as these babies! The rubber piece which is more clear than white are supper strong! The ones that came with the gate had started to tare after a week! These are thicker and very good at gripping. I didn't trust the other ones at all. I don't even need the plastic drill in holders with these.They are the same length as the original set I had. The plastic twisting piece is also very solid and strong. I was afraid the old ones should snap or crack if if I twisted to tight. I don't get that feeling from these.Even if you have a good set already if advice you to replace them with these! My son at 8 months old was able to push it down after shaking it a bit hence why I got the plastic guards to place them in. Now at age 3 yrs he can not budge the same gate even without the plastic wall guards. All because the pressure screws are so dang strong.Love these and now I feel confident my kids are safe when I put up my gate. I still have to watch them since my son has figured out how to open the gate of course he knows when not to but they sure aren't going to able to knock it down and get hurt.Would buy again. But it looks like they are made so well id have to lose them again to buy more because these are gonna last through their younger years.Also make sure if you put it on a thin or small door way and you can't tighten things very good you might need the plastic wall guards. That way it doesn't slip right off. Cause pressure doesn't work if you can't apply pressure. Blame yourself not the product. Love it!
