I am in the process of setting up 3x double garages (6 bays) and it has been a chore. In my previous homes, I always used peg boards. However in each of the 3 garages, there were preinstalled slatwall around most of the walls, but no accessories. Since these boards seemed more durable than the peg boards, I decided to buy accessories for the slat wall system. I quickly saw that this would be quite costly. So we had to start getting creative and these shelf brackets came in handy. We had several4 and 6 ft laminated shelves where we originally used an adjustable setup. Well we decided to use those shelves with these brackets and that combination was so much Cheaper than purchasing actual slat wall shelving, especially the longer 4 and 6 ft ones. These brackets are a Game-changer and are Saving us substantially more money on this project. We have many power tools in cases and these brackets are Holding Up well to the weight of all of them.

It's a shelf bracket. It does shelf bracket things. It won't do your taxes or function as a calculator, but if you need a piece of wood held to a wall to put random knick knacks on... this is exactly what the doctor ordered.

However, remember that your shelving board weight must be counted in with the total weight that these brackets will hold.The listing does not specify what shelf bracket spacing is needed to support 30 pounds.But if you don't overload these brackets, they should be adequate for most uses.

This shelf bracket is a nice enough bracket. It does what it's supposed to do. My only real complaint is with the horrible price. Do yourself a favor and look at competing products on Amazon. You'll be shocked at how much more you get for your money. Once again, Amazon for the win.

I thought these were for 2 pairs of brackets, not 2 brackets, so my mistake - be aware this is 1 set/pair.My mistake aside - these are pretty decent quality. I was worried because a 12 inch deep shelf needs some support, but these seem really sturdy.A couple of suggestions for use:These have no real upper portion just the edge sits on the shelf itself, so to keep from horizontal movement I cut a thin channel (literally just uses the circular saw and cut a very shallow line) in the bottom of the shelf to keep these from moving. There may be other clever ways to keep this from moving but this was what worked for me.If you are using the Menards slatwall panel consider using the metal insert in the row where you are using these. A 12 inch deep shelf is going to take some weight and while I don't worry about these hangers, I do worry about the lbs on the slat itself.
