These are really cute and they work well. I used them while on vacation by placing a water bottle on top for my house plants. While they may not be suitable for long-term use, they performed excellently for the week we were away. However, since the plants ran out of water, I'm not sure how long they would last without additional watering before the plants start to die. They are useful for people who forget to water.

These are cute, but the standard water bottles I buy on Amazon for my regular clay self-watering system do not fit in these spikes. Beer or water bottles do fit.

These are cute. They provide steady water for a few days for my small plant, and are east to put a bottle on top to provide for longer watering. I only use the bottles on vacation.

All 4 work great, 3 out of them look great too. One however as I have pictured is peeling along the rim for some reason. It is outdoors but I have other ones outside that aren't peeling like this. 5 months in BTW that I've noticed this. Otherwise it still works and is easy to use.

They reached us totally intact. I am already using them and so far they are working as we hoped for. We have used watering spikes before and kept them for years. After a while they did break - but we got a lot of years out of the ones we had. These seem a tad sturdier than our previous ones, but have only had them one week. The instructions were very helpful in suggesting how to keep them working.

These are cute, and they hold a good amount of water. The spike is hollow so the helps out. I purchased them so the birds that always set up housekeeping in my hanging baskets can get a drink and not really leave the nest. They are not happy when I refill them, but it's not like they have moved out. Easy to refill since the top is about 2 inches across and totally open. I keep hoping they'll settle down after awhile and let me add water. May have to purchase more if the population increases.

These have come in handy so well since my spouse and I love plants but aren't the best at upkeep. They doo a really good job at keeping the soil hydrated and plants have been looking healthy every since. Keep in mind, these are pretty big so we only used them in our big pots. It's also super easy to refill (we just pour water directly to the watering spikes instead of using a bottle) and can essentially water our plants in a minute or two with no work at all.I'm contemplating using them outside on some fruit trees that the sprinklers don't reach.
