Very sturdy and easy to adjust. You may need a few washers if the board you are replacing the center beam with is only 1 inch thick. Generally, it is hard harder to find 1.5 inch thick lumber.. so to compensate for the space five washers is best per screw.

I’m using these for my bed. I actually bought the wrong screws for my IKEA bed (the screws they came with are too big for mine; I think they’re 5/16†and I need 3/8†or something.) I’ll update if the install goes bad.I plan on using more support beams in the middle of my bed. There’s a set of 4 that I also have from a different brand that are made of plastic (I know, kind of weird, but it seems to be a high quality, dense plastic.) I plan on using the plastic versions as support beams. My point is, if you use these for your bed, don’t forget to also account for have extenders/risers for the middle of your bed’s support beam(s).Pros:• I like how they can be used in the middle of the bed too, for more/added support.• Build quality is decent because they’re metal but they bend (see pic).• Bottom ends are rubber so that will help keep the bed from moving on non-carpeted floors.• They seem pretty universal. I think these can be used in a lot of furniture situations.• Allows me to have under-the-bed storage. (Huge plus.)Cons:• They bend. As you unscrew them to make them longer, they bend more and more. I posted a pic of how it looks completely extended. The pic shows how much they bend.• I wish these came in silver. I’m replacing the legs on my IKEA bed. My IKEA bed’s legs are silver and look nicer. (My IKEA support beam is actually black.)• The rubber on the bottom will eventually break down; might be 5-10 years. Not a biggie, just thought I’d mention that since they’re rubber, they’ll break down eventually. It’s a heavyweight rubber so it may last a long time.Overall, these are still the best risers that I’ve gotten/used so far.*Side note: I’ve also used the plastic square ones that you just put the current legs of the furniture on top of (without any screws); I don’t like the awkward look of them, and they can also come off easily since they’re not screwed in..I think these price point is decent and competitive. I’m happy to recommend these.

Does exactly what it says it does. Was on the verge of buying new matress because mine was sinking in the middle. Replaced standard wood support beams with these and the bed feels brand new again. Bed is nice and firm again.

Product is great. Held the slate sturdy. Only complain and pretty big issue is the screws that came with it. The threads do not go all the way up to the top of the screw so if you have something smaller than 1.5 it will not fit. You will need to by new screws that are big enough to fit the hole and have threads up to the top of the screw.

These worked perfectly and are probably sturdier than the original wooden legs.
