Terrible, half of these lights don't work right out of the box. They are also very sensitive as far as placement goes, must be perfectly centered (and they like to move a lot, they don't stay centered). Some of those that do work flicker.

I thought that these would offer brighter light inside the dashboard gauge cluster of my 1990 GMC Truck. I replaced 15 #194 bulbs with these LED's and half do not work or quite working....Recent LED for the Left turn signal stopping working as well. It's a lot of work and labor to take the dashboard apart to repace the ones that don't work. I'm not sure what the problems or issues were but I certainly don't look forward to the job. Event in the dead of night, these LED's never gave off more light than the #194 bulbs. Maybe better research might offer more insight relating to LED's light for autos/trucks. These were inport from China. I'd also suggest to anything attemping to replace the #194 bulbs to invest in a bulb puller. There's an American company that manuf. one designed for bulbs in pin ball machines that's perfect.

These lights do exactly what they are advertised to do. Good price for the item purchased plus you get 4 for the same price as one would cost you at an auto parts store.

I had bought the XKGLOW 5 SMD LED and was impressed with light output and color, and they were the best 194/ T10 wedge base Bulb I bought, and the least expensive too. Hoping for even more light output, I had bought another brand of 9 SMD bulb of the same design, but was not impressed with the light color(bluish), and output was not increased much at all over the XKGLOW 5 SMD's.I ordered these, and found these were also not much brighter than the 5 SMD versions, and while 3 of the bulbs were even less blue than the 5 SMD versions and more pleasing to my eye, one was much more Blue.No Doubt the incandescent fixture I put these in is not designed to take advantage of the extra light as they are designed to project from a single spot of light that a filament bulb emits. If all the bulbs were the same white color, I'd give them 5 stars, as not much more light output can be expected from this design and current state of affordable LED technology.I am still looking for a much brighter T10 base LED light, but it is all trial and error as few give lumen ratings and bulb color probably varies batch by batch, and how any particular bulb performs within an incandescent fixture will vary even more widely. These bulbs also fit nice and tightly in the sockets, where many other brands are wobbly and require rebending of the metal wire contact to achieve an acceptable fit.

I was using incandescent bulbs in my low voltage lighting around the house. Initially from the local home supply store, then 194LL automotive bulbs. The main problem with these incandescent lamps is the frequent burn out. When I saw these LEDs I decided to try them out and they work great! I converted from 12 volts AC to 12 volts DC which was not a big problem and I ran the old bulbs on DC until the new LED lamps arrived. The bulbs are polarized and they will fit into the lamp holder either way so I measured each socket and marked the negative end with a permanent marker. When the bulbs arrived I checked them (all worked) and marked the negative end of each lamp, then installing them was no problem. They light up fine and use much less current that the old bulbs. They also cost less than half what the 194LL does and the life should be much longer. My main motivation was to cut down on the replacement of the old style bulbs every 3 months or so. Time will tell if this approach will work but for an $8 investment I thought it was worth a try. If it does work out I will order another batch and look for more places around the yard to use them.

I replaced all my RVs interior lighting with these LEDs. I also ordered 6 spares. As long as you're aware that DC LEDs are polarized and may have to be re-inserted 180 deg. to get them to work, you should have no problems. All the bulbs worked great. I really like the pure white color compared to yellowish 921 incandescents. Great product for a great price.
