I bought these for first graders, because all of the large pyramid-style prisms on here are extremely pointy and not at all kid safe. These are unfortunately not child safe either - all of the ends are VERY sharp. I wouldn't trust kids with these at all.Additionally, no amount of differing light source will get them to produce the advertised rainbow effect.

These are gorgeous prisms. They're a nice compact and easy to use size. The prisms themselves are flawless and are completely free of scratches or imperfections. If you want a bunch of small prisms, this is a great set.

These are the most fragile prisms I’ve ever used. After one day in the classroom most of these had been chipped. Very disappointing

These were nice, heavy prisms. They refract the light well, and were carefully packaged. They arrived with no issues at all, and I was pleased by the quality.
