I received the foam a little deformed, however, that doesn't change its functionality so I don't care.This is the first time I've used floral foam for fresh flowers and making an arrangement (well two)After arranging flowers on the foam, it was about 2 days after some were looking sadder than others.Using the flower food that comes with store-bought bouquets mixed with water, I soaked the foam. It absorbed a good amount of liquid and I was very happy with that. I can also add more water to the foam after the first day by trickling it through the flowers.I don't think the flowers would have lasted more than a few hours without the floral foam, so I'm really happy that the bouquet lasted through our hosted Thanksgiving dinner.

I got these for my crochet flower arrangement - for dry use. Unfortunately, these are typical wet blocks for live flowers, I believe. Yes, they can be used dry, too, but when I stick my crochet stems in it they crumble, and leave little green morsels all around my work space. I'm not disappointed, they are probably excellent for real flower arrangements and a little bit more than a dollar for a disk is quite a good price. But using it dry is messy for me.

I bought these Round Floral Foam Blocks for centerpieces that I decided to make myself for my December wedding. I bought these to use during a test run, just to make sure they wouldn't turn out horribly. They most certainly didn't! This flower foam made the whole task so fast and easy, and everything looked way more beautiful than just a regular hand-tied arrangement.I can't believe I'd never used flower foam before. It's so easy to use and seriously changes the game for arranging florals. If you're new to it, prepare to have your mind blown. I can't imagine making an arrangement without it now!

These round floral foam blocks saved me some time and work in filling this large pot prior to arranging some tall stems in it!They would also work great on a large, flat plate or platter for cool table arrangements, whether artificial or using live plants. This foam will definitely hold water, although I didn't have need for it in this application. I've used floral foam a lot, and the quality of this foam was as good as any I've used, and better than some. Would be very comfortable recommending it.
