Works will in the Kitchen sink, only complaint is it needs to be cleaned daily or it gets a bit slimy. Not sure if its the silicone or liquids sticking to the underside between the strainer and the sink.

When I moved into my apartment the double sink had two of the drain catchers that had built in drain plugs as well. I was truly disgusted by how food would get caught up in the drain plug and knew I needed something and little "cleaner". These are perfect! They are lightweight and fit around the drain well to prevent anything from slipping through. The colors are pretty and the price for the set was great. The best part for me is that you do not need to put your hand inside the catcher to empty it. With the wide lips you can just pull up from there and remove any debris without getting anything gross on your hands. I haven't had any issues with these clogging and think this prevents a lot more from going down the drain than my previous drain catchers did.

I LIKE THIS ITEM BECAUSE IT HAS GREAT POTENTIAL. IF IT HAD A METAL WT OR RING TO PREVENT IT FROM FLOATING ONCE WATER SLOWS THROUGH THE DRAIN WHICH LETS FOOT GET THROUGH. THE SOLUTION IS TO ADD A COUPLE GLASS ROCKS AND IT IS A LOVELY THING. I STILL LIKE THIS PRODUCT FOR EASE OF CLEANING AND THE SILICONE ASPECT OF IT. I HAD USED A VERY LARGE METAL WASHER BUT I KEPT TOSSING IT INTO THE GARBAGE BY ACCIDENT. THE COLORED ROCKS HELP.

Easy to clean, fit perfectly in my sink, and they're cheap enough that if I don't want to try to clean it any more I just throw it away. Great for the lazier housekeeper.

The sink strainers look nice, but the thick rim makes it hard for water to drain properly and for any food particles to flow in easily. I am always lifting the drainer to get the food bits to move in to it. And I feel this defeats the purpose of having a sink strainer. I agree that the design could use some improvement for better functionality!

Liked that I bought 2 sets so I could match the same color in each side of my stainless steel sink. ! Love the colors too, great retro look. They do tend to float in the sink when you pour large pots of water down the drain but, stay in place the rest of the time and clean easily. I'm on a septic and don't have a garbage disposal so I really really appreciate having these! Clean out super easy. Mostly I dig the color combos.
