I'm a big fan of to-do lists and post it notes but I also want to keep them as temporary as possible while making sure they stay in place until I want to get rid of them. This seemed like the best solution for the way I like to do things. The main place I wanted to use at least one, if not two of these, was on the wall behind my desk at home. I am always writing notes and sticking them to the wall but as I move them around to re-prioritize things the adhesive isn't made to constantly be removed and reapplied so the adhesive starts to fail.Using this I don't need adhesive at all. Any regular piece of paper will slide in and stick. As I need to reprioritize things it as simple as pulling it out, sliding around the other notes, and slipping it back into the rail. This has also helped reduce my need to even write a separate post it note, For example, if I had an invoice due I can just hang the actual invoice from the ticket holder instead of writing a note about the invoice and then sticking it to the wall.

I'm using these to hold artworks while drying them, and to keep my priority lists posted up and visible. And other stuff. If I get a restaurant, these will clean right up and look brand new, since they're aluminum. The marbles inside work great for paper and lightweight fabrics, and, if needed, could easily be coated with something or replaced with a heavy wedge-shaped bar if anyone needed something really super-stuck and not pull-out-able. Also, the end caps could be trimmed slightly or slipped off between the units if they were installed butted up end-to end, to create many feet of continuous grabby-grab for holding a really, really wide piece of paper or fabric (like a 6 foot wide painting, maybe).Already awesome out of the box, versatile, modifiable, washable, handy, stable, screw-down-anywhere-able, and reusable, likely forever. That's a whole lot of "Yes, please, and Thank You", right there.Totally. My kind of object.

This sleek aluminum ticket holder system has revolutionized order management for my small business and in my home office. The 18-inch rails provide plenty of space for organizing tickets, bills, and daily tasks, while maintaining a clean, professional appearance at the workstation. What really sets these holders apart is their magnetic grip strength - the embedded glass beads create just the right amount of tension to keep papers secure without making them difficult to remove or adjust. Even during our busiest days, orders stay firmly in place until we need them.Installation couldn't be simpler, with included mounting options for virtually any surface. The double-sided adhesive tape works great for quick setup, while the screws provide a more permanent solution for high-traffic areas. I mounted mine directly on the cupboard in my office and shipping station counter with zero issues. The premium aluminum construction has proven incredibly durable, standing up to the daily demands of a busy commercial kitchen. The oil-resistant finish wipes clean easily and shows no signs of rust or wear after months of constant use. But please note: The corners of these holder come to a sharp point...just know that when you are selecting a place to hang these. With four holders in the set, I was able to create organized stations throughout my office and my shipping station. Whether you run a small business or just want to keep track of bills, this versatile system adapts perfectly to your space and workflow needs. The professional quality and thoughtful design make these ticket holders an essential addition to any operation, home or business.

18" is 17" 5/16. Not magnetic.

I do a lot of woodworking, for years I have tried to come up with a way to quickly hang a plan or some notes. I saw these and problem solved. I put a few on shelves and drawers and I have a quick way to hang a plan or some notes. Best idea I have had in a long time. Now I plan on embedding one in nice wood trim and then I have a fast way to hang photos. I like putting photos up for just a short time then changing them out. This will work for that as well. These work great, it is very easy to put a sheet of paper in the holder then quickly remove it.

I picked some of these up for my home studio. Using them to hang lyric sheets for singers... Previously I was having to tape the paper and try to twist and turn it in the right position. This is a perfect fit. I use the sticky pads to attach and it could not be simpler to hang sheets of paper.

I ordered these to use for putting notes and orders in different areas of our embroidery shop. I've found multiple uses for them. They are high quality material, don't have springs...that is great, and they are well made. A great value for a great versatile product.
