Almost all original tank bolts become completely rusted after a few years in the water tank. To unscrew them is impossible. So I used this set of stainless steel bolts. In the future if I need to take off the water tank, it could be much easier. They fit very well even though they are a little slimmer than the original ones.

We had a toilet that looked like it had a slow leak from one of the bolts that connects the tank to the base. At the end of the day, I am not sure if it was the bolt or the seal between the tank and base, which I couldnt see with the tank on the base... both were bad and needed to be replaced. In any case, these are working. The bolts are a little bit of a different design than what was in the tank but the difference doesnt seem to matter (at least for now).
