These wire shelf brackets are a close and functional copy of Closet Maid deep shelf brackets for their wire shelving. The design is slightly different but the shelving still fits easily and these work to support the shelving. They have the same slight flex to them as the Closet Maid item which is important as it suggests that they are not so brittle that they might crack if you place an screw too tightly. They come with screws and anchors for mounting in hollow areas of wallboard. If you happened to have a stud behind the wallboard at the place where you need to mount one, you might be able to get away with using the supplied screws but they would be barely long enough (1 1/8 inch) to have enough length in the wood. I would be inclined to use 1 1/2 inch screws in that case for better support of the shelf.

These wall mounts for the wire shelving systems are great replacements for the name brands. We bought a house and there was already wire shelving, but we wanted it in different places than where it was. When we removed the shelves we wanted to move, we discovered that the wall brackets were not reusable. They had built-in drywall anchors, making them trash.These end brackets can be moved and can even be installed into studs if necessary. These are highly recommended.
