Really does black out the sun for late sleepers or afternoon naps. Cooler inside too. Also blocks in the light. Not sure if "blockin" is a word, but it does just that. If you are sleeping normal night hours in a regular tent and your travel partner is a night owl up all night reading with a bright light or watching movies or someone afraid of the dark that simply must have a flood light LED lantern shining inside the tent all night radiating out 360 degrees and keeping everyone else up, etc. then give this tent as a gift to them so you can sleep. It really works. The zipper is kinda weird tho how it is attached like a book for a giant door hinged in a little fabric when open all the way. And I don't understand why the opening pulls so bad when set up that it won't zip without unhooking three side clips. Good ventilation if you pull the guide strings out and attach them to a tree or stake. Nice ground zipper mesh window for air flow. Pretty huge inside the 4 person tent. Two twin mattress would fit the long way so your feet are pointing at a wall and not out the door because turning it that way the mattress is a little too long and risks getting damp from poking against the edge.

Actually water proof (still use a large tarp to be safe), dark, and roomy. If you get a thermal blanket that goes over it and (or) a large moving blanket. It’s comfortable up to about 30 degrees. Then it gets kinda chilly.

Bought as a surprise for my two kids to use camping, so they could have their own space. As other reviews mention: zipper definitely IS finicky and we stressed to be careful. Set up was about 15 minutes our first time. In addition: It can fit two twin air mattresses with about 6†in between. We used one twin mattress and one sleeping pad which left approx 2’ between the beds for personal effects. The tent is dark when all zipped up, almost too dark. There is a small back “window†panel towards the ground for ventilation. Plenty of space for two kids, I’m skeptical about multiple adults. A child could stand up inside but that’s about it. Wish the storage picket was on the back wall so all people can utilize it, but there was only one on the right side. There is also an attached “welcome mat†which is nice to kick your shoes off before entering. Overall, good purchase for the purpose.

Bought this tent for a roadtrip and wasn't disappointed. Relatively lightweight, easy to set up, excellent quality, good blackout capability, really spacious, and all at an extremely affordable price compared to it's name brand competitors. Overall an excellent product that I would recommend.

This tent was not too difficult to assemble but was difficult to get zipped and structurally not very well made. It wouldn’t be very good in bad weather. The back window opens to the ground which can’t be used in wet weather. It is just not a good design.

All is good but too tight to fully zip up the front door zipper. Maybe I did something wrong but tried a few times. Light and easy to set up with 2 people.

This tent went up fairly easily. It’s half mesh and half solid fabric.I used the videos more than the actual instructions on the inside of the carry bag to erect it, which are hard to read. Tiny. Still, I got it done until I went to install the rain fly overhang. There’s a rod that goes thru a pocket and hooks to a grommet on the tent, that pushes into it. The tent has a built in, sewed on tab with a grommet there. Fine so far. The rod plugged right in. I went to the other side (right)…..no sewed in grommet. I thought I’d missed something, but no. No grommet. The pole has an end to fit the grommet. But..No grommet for it to attach to. The side with the grommet (right side facing) the tent) is missing. Nothing sewn in other than a tab to connect to one of the main poles. No instructions about it. Videos are useless because they gloss over that part. I grabbed a zip tie and a washer that would fit the end and tied it to the right side main support pole. The pole fits, but it’s not connected to the tent, just the pole that holds it up, So the tent has a right lean to it. Doesn’t look like the pictures, all square and aligned. Not happy Camper. lol.Maybe, I’m missing something. I’ll let you know if I messed up.………….UPDATE…………It turns out that the tent I received did not have the grommet installed. I contacted the seller and they were Very accommodating and are sending a new one. I am impressed with this merchant. Solid customer service. Very refreshing.………….Another Update……….The replacement just arrived! Record time. I told the seller I was going camping tomorrow (8/21/24) and they bent over backwards to get it to me before I headed out.My Goodness !! Outstanding customer service !!Thank You, LoyeahCamp !!
