This is great for those extensions you don’t know when you will need. I use these where the plunger type extensions are too thick or could open in a wall, attached to a drill bit. It’s a secret weapon for drilling studs in walls for extending wiring for a receptacle or switch.

Great to extend the needed reach; however,I came to find the set screws vibrate loose with the impact or drill which caused me to loose a paddle bit in my ceiling after drilling through a ceiling joist. I had to tape over the set screws to keep them in place which worked.

The product description says for use with wood spade drill bit but i was able to use the tool to drill into an aluminum engine block so im very happy with the toughness and high quality of the tools. I would definitely buy it again. Amazing performance. And a great value for the money. The fit was exactly as described and has the appearance and weight of quality stainless steel.

Cheaply made. The set screw holes has shards of metal on the inside of the socket which and to be filed down before it could be attached to socket driver. The long extension was not concentric. The drill bit had a huge amount to wobble, so I didn’t even attempt to drill with it.

A 1/4 inch diameter shaft very well inside with a little room to spare. Uses standard two set screw fastening. SHAPE is nicely tapered and smoothed to prevent scratching, binding or jamming in tight spaces. Chuck end has 1/4 inch hex end with the locking indent for impact driver chucks. ALSO There are 2 Allen wrenches - one for each extension. I will be using it with various wire brushes for cleaning out rust and debris from the interiors of old metal containers.

Works well, however, it twisted under stress of a low torque Black & Decker 3/8 drill.

Bought this for adding a Moxon vice to a workbench - not straight, re-checked alignment in the drill chuck but about 5mm of wobble - absolute waste of time
