The instructions are fairly clear. Note that it’s not obvious that you can unscrew the cylinder around the light bulbs, which allow you to easily install the gu-10 style light bulbs. (Light bulbs are not included.) I ended up using LED bulbs and it illuminates our wall very well. The dark brown color of the fixture blends well with our room decor.
