I have been using the green field viewer sheets for years, and they are great, but I was looking for something that made a clearer image. So I got some of these. And they are amazing! I thought they'd be good, given the reviews, but I assumed that the photos were faked. They aren't—you really do get different colors and a very striking pattern when you have an interesting magnetic field to make visible.The only downside is this: This film only works on really strong fields. Refrigerator magnets.... Nope. You need strong rare earth magnets to see a good effect. But if you have strong magnets and you need to make a striking visualization of their field.... This is a great tool for the job!

Reasonable price.Does exactly what it says it does.This magnetic indicator sheet isn't monotone, it really has a ferromagnetic oil defractive chamber layer. This gives you a good indcation of magnetic feild strength.A word of caution this mag-paper contains a fuild layer don't pinch it between magnet and metal. Never seen this be a problem but its good to know before you use these.

Purchase this to replace a much smaller lower resolution similar device. This thing was cheap. Didn't expect much and when it came the holder that holds it had come unglued just had to glue it back together and it looked as it should. But also didn't realize that I should have just took it out of the holder because I'm pretty sure the holder is just for purposes of transportation. That being said, this thing works great. The resolution is exceptional and it really helps you see those magnets on a hall sensor very easily. Use it in my automotive technician class. Wish I had it when I was a tech,

A must tool to see if your slot car is set up the the "in-Line " or the "X" pattern for the traction magnets to motor magnets. The "x" pattern is the pic on the rt. and the most downforce way to set up the car. The pic is of the 440x2 cars. I'll also get pics of the same for the SG+/Viper cars later. Notice the field has no yellow "break" between the motor and traction magnet on the same side of the car, hence the greater downforce. The traction magnet that sticks to the outside of the motor magnet goes on the opposite side of the car. Often magnets are not color coded so this ends any confusion.
