Fairly straight forward and easy to do. Just make sure you aren’t too gentle with it and the installation should be a breeze.

My mark down has nothing to do with the seller. My mark down is because there's only one size of stem for the variety you get. There should be some with longer stems.

Worked great to fix my daughters boot, she was so upset when one of her hooks broke off these worked great as a replacement and were easy to put on.

The hooks are a thin pot metal. The posts of the hooks are not long enough. The washers are a worse pot metal than the hooks. The diameter of the posts is smaller than what most manufacturers are using so they will pull through if you can get them to crimp on. The anvil is to deep leaving a gap between the shoe and the hook which makes almost impossible to get a good crimp. These are complete rubbish. Do not buy these.

The kit comes complete with everything needed to make repairs. However after several months of use....it was necessary to replace the same eyelets again. The etemets in this kit are a lighter gauge metal and bend easily. Sadly it's the sign of our times cutting a few micrograms here and there and producing a lower quality facimile.

Prompt shipment, easy to install, does what I need them to do. I can't attest to how long they hold up over time, but in a pack of 20 and how easy to apply, I guess that's not too important.

The tools work as expected and the hooks themselves are as solid as factory speedhooks on all the boots I have. However there are a lot of faults with this product.There are only enough hooks to do 20 sets of eyelets with all the pieces, so it's not 80 sets, it's 80 pieces.The hooks are rough and need deburring to stop them from catching/fraying/chewing up the laces.The silver/chrome looks great, but the black is far closer to a gunmetal coloring
