Had to get someone alto assemble. Need written directions added . Great toy chest just not as deep and wide as expected and needed. But fits great in granson bedroom , and looks great!

I got two of these for toy boxes. One for my in home day care and the other one for my boys. It holds up to them beating on it. Jumping their monster trucks, hot wheels, race cars on and over it. It is big enough to hold well over 350 monster trucks, hot wheel cars and other toys with no problems.

Putting it together wasn’t hard. UNTIL.. step 5!! Unfortunately both mechanisms that were provided to assist with holding the lid up don’t work with chest. The holes are not in the right spot for either of them. We are going without for now … I may try to create the holes for them. Would not use for a small child. My daughter is 10 and can make sure it doesn’t fall on her head. It’s heavy and sturdy… happy about that. Good size!!

Arrived undamaged and securely packed with all hardware packaged in separate zip lock bags and screws used for different pieces included in the bags for those separate items (such as the hinges) , and the 6 "wood" box parts numbered.Assembly is easy, however the hardware is fairly cheap quality and the 2 bars that are supposed to keep the top from closing quickly are cheap and actually impossible to install. I'm not using it as a toybox and don't have children around so I'm still keeping it and using it to hold spare linens. I didn't expect a lot for the price, I do plan to replace the black plastic feet as they will probably crack fairly quickly, they are not really visible once the box is set up.

The two pages of so called instructions do not help at all. You have to figure out on your own which piece is what and goes where. If you’re used to build IKEA you should be ok otherwise forget it. Also quality is not the best. While screwing in the screws the paint went off, and I didn’t use a drill! I would not recommend this product nor buy it again.
