I love this stand, works great for my 40 breeder. Was a snap to put together. Pretty heavy duty

Bottom line - would recommendOrdered this for my 50 gallon aquarium and to replace its old stand (I constructed with 2x4s and plywood) that no longer 'goes' with my family room furniture. While I haven't yet swapped the stands, I did assemble it and am currently using it as a sidebar in my dining room...it actually looks really nice there and my spouse is even trying to argue we should use it as that permanently. The product arrived well packaged and appears to be high quality...with 1 glaring exception - the drawer. The boards are not solid wood, but is anything these day? The metal frame is very supportive and has plenty of cross support. Once assembled there is virtually no rocking on this even on carpet - this thing feels solid and should easily be able to handle the weight if my aquarium. The adjustable feet make it easy to level. Another thing to note...the hinges are the soft close adjustable type. Two things I wish were different (but I don't think make a big difference in the end)...first is that the dowel cam inserts that are preinstalled in the top panel are plastic...I am always afraid of stripping plastic and wish they were metal. However, with care in not over tightening, they seem to work well. The cam locks are metal...so no concern there. The second thing that I wish was different is that the 'charging station' had 5 outlets instead of 4. My tank has 2 lights, a heater, air pump, and a canister filter...so i still have to try and get to the wall outlet or use a spike bar. As I said..neither of these are big deals are are not the reason I took off 1 star.Now...my biggest issue and why I didn't give this 5 stars...the drawer. Everything else on this looks great, feels high quality and durable. However, the drawer is a thinner fabric with just cardboard supporting the sides and a flat, fabric covered cardboard insert for the bottom (see photo). This makes for a pretty flimsy drawer that somewhat stands out due to the different texture, slightly different shade of black and a matte finish vs the semi-gloss of the wood. I also worry that it may not 'age' well and stand out even more over time...or fall apart. This really should have been a 'normal' wooden drawer to match the rest of the stand.Overall, I am very happy with this stand and would recommend it....I just really wish the drawer were different.

I would give this a 4.5 if I could, half a star off due to the instructions. This tank stand is beautiful and sturdy. I assembled it mostly alone and it took me a solid hour. Some of the instructions were a bit frustrating because it didn't seem to take in account what position it would have to be in to do what was shown, and the position shown made installing some of the screws impossible.I also noticed that pilot holes were not drilled on both sides of the hinges for the door, so my husband had to help figure that out and it wasn't easy as neither of us are particularly handy. We managed to make it work though it's not as perfect as it could have been. The stand itself is reinforced with metal, which is a nice touch. The biggest detractor is the fabric drawer. It is such a nice, solid stand and then has a flimsy cheap fabric drawer. Why?Overall the stand looks great and is super sturdy, it doesn't wobble at all. There is plenty of space for pumps and filters and any other tank maintenance items you need to keep nearby.

I originally purchases an all metal (no cabinet or drawer) open style stand for my 40g breeder. I didn't like that there was nowhere to hide anything under the aquarium (it was the only stand they had). When I saw this stand, I knew it would be much better! I really like the cabinet with adjustable shelf! I was able to put my auto top off tank in there and still have plenty of room for other cleaning accessories. While I do with the drawer was made of a different material, I know this was to help with the cost of the setup. I am very happy to have a drawer to store food and other smaller items. The stand was fairly simple to put together and I only had to put a bit of extra thinking into a few steps. I was able to do it all by myself and it took me about an hour. The parts are all very well organized and it reminded me of my Lego building days. I like that the top of the stand is a full piece of wood as it made it easy to slide the aquarium onto (it was not fully empty). I highly recommend this stand and would buy it again!

This Aquarium Stand by FILKO, is a solidly built wonderful way to set-up an aquarium as long as it’s under 850lb and less then 41in long. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying, including flaws.I. Quality – It’s about as good as you can expect for particle board furniture. It’s held together solid enough to handle the weight and survive the use. It actually looks pretty good considering the materials used.II. Performance – It has worked great to hold a turtle tank that’s fairly large and weighs a lot. The power strip is great to have to plug the filter into and other accessories. Even though the wood is particle board, it has metal legs that go all the way up and cross members to increase its strength and weight capacity.Overall, this has turned out to be a solid choice that offers great capacity, functionality and power to serve its purpose well for me. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it.You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Hopefully it was helpful in your decision.

One of my favorites is the inclusion of power outlets, which makes it easy to manage the tank’s lighting, filter, and other electronics without needing extra extension cords or power strips. The sleek metal build gives it a modern look, while its solid construction ensures stability and longevity. Overall, this stand is a practical and attractive solution, perfect for hobbyists who want a streamlined, clutter-free setup.
