I just recently ordered a fixed pulley set of the same gauge from this same company Shinico and the advertised bearings did not exist so I didn't expect this one to have actual bearings. However, THIS pulley does have actual double bearings and there is no comparison between the lack of friction in this swivel double pulley and the fixed pulley that I already received. This pulley is made from 304 stainless and real bearings. This pulley does not feel restricted by friction which is super important if you're looking to create mechanical advantage. The double pulley is however, not independent. Both rope tracks are slotted on a single wheel. It's not a true double pulley block. Depending on how you rig a system this might cause incompatibility as rope travels at different rates in a system and if you use anything that stretches like paracord (which isn't advisable anyhow), the rope will most certainly end up causing friction that will work against itself.This block has a swivel attachment at the top which is secured by a threaded bolt from below. This also could be problematic if the bolt were to somehow twist and unscrew from the eye while doing what it is supposed to do which is swivel. I can't see any tack weld or if there is some sort of locking adhesive to keep this from happening. It's a potential fail point if not.

In our case it is a heavy stainless steel cook pot attached to SS cable. This SS pulley works perfectly for our purpose. The product descriptions and photos are very accurate, and the quality is obvious upon inspection. It is all stainless steel, and I have no doubt that it will support over 500 pounds. The action on the wheel is smooth and without any noticeable friction. We use a boat trailer winch to raise and lower the “bucket†of water for a low tech solution for drinking water in a remote location. The price of $10 is pretty reasonable and it is definitely well made. I’m very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend this pulley.

This SHINICO pulley block has helped reduce the strain my old hoist winch permanently mounted in the barn. The block itself is well built; with good materials including the roller bearing for the pulley.After the original pulley block broke a couple of years ago, hoisting the 400lb hitch vertically out of my truck bed was pushing the capacity of the 20 year old winch. Once this new SHINICO block was installed, it was like having a new winch. In the six or seven hoists of the hitch and some pallets weighing 600 lbs or more; it has worked flawlessly. After the last lift, there was zero bearing noise. I would definitely recommend this pulley block.

This pulley wheel is more than I expected it to be, that's for sure. It is well made and appears to be extremely sturdy as well. The pulley system runs smoothly and I have had no issues with operating yet. I am extremely happy with this product.

I'm using this as a way to help me do PT exercises. There are movements that are difficult to arrange using dumbbells, and resistance bands don't feel the same or have the same fluidity as moving mass because they don't provide a constant amount of resistance.It's not a large pulley but it feels sturdy. The bearings don't have a lot of freespin, but they rotate smoothly, and all the bolts are dotted with locktite.I'm definitely not planning on testing the recommended safe working load. The pulley wheel itself seems very strong but the bolts are not very beefy, nor are they grade 8.

This is a well-made pully block. The materials are high-quality and seem very durable and sturdy. The wheel is very smooth. It seems like a great pulley!
