We use these to hang up metal signs, they work really well for that, and blend in nicely with the signs. They only issue with this pack it it came with a few defective nails. Only 2 or 3 out of the whole pack though.

Yep, Its metal, straight and black. You hit it with a hammer. Not much to say. Kid uses for string art. They just work.

Used these on wooden steps to install carpet runners but the nails would bend up halfway in. I finally got frustrated and used my staple gun which was so much better.
