Maintenance of Bow
- The violin needs to be tuned before each performance. While tuning, rotate the pegs and gently push them inward to hold them in place.
- The first time you play, the bow needs to be rosined for 2 minutes (extra force is needed to facilitate rosin attachment to the bow.), and after each practice, it needs to be reapplied with rosin.
- After each performance, the bow hairs need to be loosened and the bow tightened by gently adjusting the tension screw when practicing again.

Use the sizing chart to choose the correct size based on arm measurements.
Follow these instructions for the most accurate size: First, extend the player's arm fully to the side and perpendicular to the body, then measure from the base of the neck to the middle of the palm. Check the size chart above to determine the appropriate size of the violin based on the arm length measurement. Please refer to the sizing chart above for assistance.
1. Fully extend your arm to the side and perpendicular to your body.
2. Measure from the base of your neck to the center of your palm.
There is little difference between the 4/4 and 3/4 sizes, so it is advisable to choose the larger size to avoid changing to a bigger one at short notice.

I have learned playing violin for a few years in grade school, I actually like it very much. Since then, education , work and family occupied all my time. At my age I am preparing hobbies for retirement years, I found this violin with good review so I want to give it a try. After receiving the unit today, I found the quality of this violin is amazing, the value is superb. The sound quality compared to my grade school one is much better, also the accessory come with the unit included even a digital tuner.I am very happy with this unit, extremely cost effective, as well as beautiful appearance. For a beginner once again, I will utilize it full, see how far I can go 😊

I was so excited to open this box for my new purple violin. When I opened the box and then the case, I was very disappointed to see that my violin was broken. The strings were completely pulled out of the violin. I purchased 2 , one for my daughter and one for me. My daughter’s violin was beautiful & good, my violin was beautiful & not good .

I would give this 5 stars however after every time playing the strings get real loose and I’ve had the bridge fall out while playing. It does sound great when all is well.

I've only owned this for maybe a week and a half and have yet to get to the point where I can actually play the darn thing. It was packaged nicely and everything was there. I had to assemble the bridge and tune it, but it fell out of tune within a day. I went to go tune it today so I could start practicing, but the E string completely snapped off the violin. So now I am contemplating whether or not this was actually worth the price point. I would strongly suggest reconsidering this if you actually want to purchase a decent violin to learn on and practice on.

This might be OK if your kid wants to treat it as a toy, but our violin teacher rejected it as a "VSO" Violin Shaped Object and we had to get a real violin. It was interesting, it sounded ok at first, but directly compared to a real wood violin, it sounded tinny and sad.
