Our dogs get tangled in the vertical blinds and snap the thin connective posts. This product is great for repairing the damage. Tabs are very easy to install, secure with hot glue and slip back on the existing blind hardware. Plan to put them on each blind as proactive reinforcement.

It really sucks when you move into a place and the blinds are barely hanging on. I purchased these, for my previous place, and they work way better than any type of tape, so I knew they would be perfect for my new place. I use a pair of needle nose pliers to tighten them, if not, they tend to slip out. I am very happy with my purchase and I recommend this product.

Very poor crimping points. they fall off after a few hours. Good idea, just poor design. useless the way they are!!!

These together make a better repair because the metal brackets don't always stay on no matter how much I squeeze them with pliers. On some of them just one side stays secure while the other easily slips off. I figured out the problem and the spikes that are supposed to grip the plastic blinds are just not sticking out far enough or simply aren't sharp enough to make purchase into the material. Only solution I can think of is to use the tip of a nail and push those metal spikes further into the surface of the blinds. I wasn't prepared for this so I just put them both on and at least one or the other is holding the blinds in place and I will say that the adhesive is doing most of the work because on some of the metal clips I can just easily pull them off by hand after very strongly clamping them down with pliers.I'll give credit to this kit because it was the best price for the quantity of pieces received and these all seam to be the same in every listing, just some are way more pricey than this kit.If I had more time to invest in searching for this type of repair I would be looking for a higher quality metal version. But for now these will do. Will see how this adhesive handles warmer weather. Time will tell.

These work well when they work. Sometimes they won’t stick in place even after I prepare the surface with alcohol.

The vertical blind in our rental property take more abuse than they deserve and it is good to have this set on hand for quick repairs to the vanes. This is good for fixing the little slot on the top of each vane that the clips attach to. Those tear frequently.
