Like these, sometimes the nut housing goes wonky with too much torque applied, but too few to worry about. The washers to prevent rack rash are also a bit wonky, and don't hold up after 2-3 uses, but that's true of ALL the others as well so far. I like the lip around the washers tho, looks good and works well.

These M6 cage nuts/screws work just fine on my server rack. Most of my other cage nuts/screws are M5, but these hold the one self I added just fine.I always like to have extra cage nuts and screws around because of the way the cage nuts attach to the rack, they can be easily dropped into the hollow parts of the rack only to be found when I decide to move the rack for maintenance or new installations.The only slight drawback is, I'm not sure why they include the shorter screws. Most of my M5 screws are at least as long if not slightly longer than the longest one in this pack. The longer screws are easier to install and i feel provide more security for heavier items. I will probably only use the long ones and wish more were included.I'm not sure how these screws will hold up in the long term, but I feel they will be fine.

I wanted to change my studio setup and condense everything to a singular 8U rack. The rack was OK, but the supplied nuts & bolts were cheap and it showed. These were a good upgrade, they looked better, didn't strip easy, and screwed in perfectly without having to try several times to get the threads lined up (you know what I'm talking about).

I ran out of cage nuts and screws for my rack system and I still had 3 more units to mount. These were exactly what I needed - the cage nuts are exactly the same as the ones that came with my system, and the two different sizes of screws is a definite plus. The screws come pre-assembled with the standard cup washer and there is also a thin nylon or plastic washer under the cup washer - a very nice touch if you don't want to put them together yourself. They appear to be made very well and the nuts thread nicely onto the screws (or vice/versa) and shouldn't present any problems at all. I'm quite happy with this set and I may have to pick up another one soon.
