The magnets on this bag is EXCELLENT. Ive used this bag to travel across the country, fully loaded with possibly 10lb worth of stuff inside the bag and even if the bike has fallen over, the bag will not come off. Ive ridden interstate 80 - 90 mph and the bag does not budge at all. I like that i can arrive anywhere and just pull the bag off the tank to take it with me. No latches, no straps, NOTHING. If i where to ever lose this bag or someone stole it from me, id immediately buy the same exact bag again.I regularly carry my drone+remote+batteries inside of here, or i use it as my lunch box whenever i ride to my job. Excellent quality bag.

This bag fits perfectly on my girlfriend's Honda CBR 500. She didn't want a huge tank bag, since the bike isn't that big. She uses it to carry an extra visor for her helmet (clear one when it get's dark). It will also hold a quart water bottle and some other odds and ends like a phone charger, extra gloves and a garage door opener. The magnets are strong and will hold the bag securely to the tank at triple digit speeds, (not too crazy...around 100 mph the bag stays put.) The bungee cords on the top are great too to carry random odds and ends, like if you just pick up something at the store on your way home. The only minor gripe I have with the bag is a lot of tank bags come with a waterproof over bag, this one does not. If it starts to rain we usually carry some extra zip locks to keep important things dry like our cell phone. We are certain that we will get many years of use out of this high quality bag. There are a lot of choices in tanks bags out there, but we like the fact that this one is made in the USA and is the highest quality construction. Just make sure your bike has a metal tank if you buy this one. Lots of sport bikes have fiberglass or plastic tanks to save weight, the bag will not stick!

The Chase Harper 450M magnetic tank bag is an excellent size for my small cruiser. The capacity surprised me; it swallows up my EDC items with ease — and lots of space left over — so I can keep my jacket pockets empty for maximum airflow. Wallet, keys, phone, reading glasses, sun glasses, multitool, headlamp, motorcycle documents, protein bars for snacks, gloves when I’m off the bike... and there’s still room for a change of shirt and under layers, or a full rain suit. The interior and exterior pockets let you keep small items organized and easy to find. That the interior is lined with orange fabric instead of black, or no lining, makes it easier to quickly find items. The bungee on the exterior will secure a water bottle or any last minute extras. And the carry handle makes it convenient to grab and go when I park the bike.The quality of materials and workmanship is top notch. Seams feel sturdy, materials are solid and have a good feel, zippers are strong and operate smoothly. This is what I expect in a USA-made item, and it does not disappoint.The only con, and it’s very minor, is that there is no rain cover with this bag. But I’m certain I can improvise a satisfactory solution. I would buy this bag again, for sure.

I tested this tank bag on my sportbike. It's an '02 (AKA "K2"), so there's much more real estate on the tank than newer bikes.This tank bag exceeds my expectations. Ironically, my first impression was a bad one: I thought it was ridiculously small. Maybe it appeared so tiny because I had a full size tank bag years ago.I was concerned that the small wings that contain the magnets wouldn't be nearly enough to hold it in place.Let me disabuse you of any such notion. This bag is freaking awesome. It's the perfect size. I think the magnets would keep the bag firmly in place even at 180 mph. Neodymium magnets are no joke.The bag is light weight, and comes with a belt in case your tank is a composite. Just be careful placing the bag on your tank. The magnets can bang against your tank. Same goes with pulling them off. I might try a thin microfiber in between the tank and magnets.As per the instructions, keep computers and drives away from this bag lest you corrupt your data from the magnets.I attached the clear tablet/phone sheet to the top of the bag. At first I was disappointed because touch wouldn't work at all. I decided to flip the sheet, not expecting any change. On the other side it worked perfectly.The bag is well made and has a ton of compartments that use zippers.I believe it's supposed to be water resistant, and it has a lifetime limited warranty.Definitely rate this bag with 5+ stars.PS: The pics are lackluster due to the poor lighting in our parking stall.

great bag. well made and durable. Just a note this bag is small so if you're looking for something just to carry a minimal amount of items this one is perfect for you. I wouldn't try putting clothes into this one as it will fatten up and won't sit well on your tank. I purchased a larger CH bag for the purpose of being able to carry a small amount of clothing for short trips. Theres a mesh pocket inside and a velcro one. Plus a clip for your keys or other items. The mesh pocket on top holds my iPhone well and I can listen to my music while riding. You can't access anything with the mesh but just set a playlist and ride. The top pocket with the clear map insert is where I store my wallet when im on the road. I really hate keeping my wallet in my pocket when riding as it gets uncomfortable after awhile. Magnets hold very well and haven't scratched my tank at all. The padding for the magnets protects quite well. the handle is durable and comfortable when carrying. I usually only carry my keys, garage opener, spare gloves and glasses, IDs, a face cover and sometimes a bottle of water and a small snack and everything fits well. I recommend to anyone looking for a good American made bag.

Même rempli au maximum, donc pesant, et à 100 km/h, il reste en place sur le réservoir. Les aimants sont vraiment incroyables! J'ai une Indian Scout Rogue et il fit super bien en terme de grosseur. Et il est assez grand pour mes lunettes, porte-cartes, clés, cigarettes et même mon manteau de pluie. Et non, il n'égratigne pas le réservoir grâce au matériel qu'ils ont mis sous le sac. C'est rare que je suis satisfaite à ce point d'un achat sur internet. Plus cher que les autres alternatives mais il vaut très certainement son prix. Je le recommande sans hésitation.

The bag mounted real simple the keeper strap around the steering head was a nice touch. The bag is well laid out easy to get into and use. The map pocket that can be removed in 1 min is a nice touch. The junk that was in pockets . Now in Bag plus a little extra room.

I was really excited about the bag when I got. The magnetic feature was one of the best I have had, unfortunately the main zipper started failing about 3 months into having the bag. I contacted Chase Harper and they were very responsive in ensuring that the issue was addressed. Although I only get 50% of the replacement bag, they are looking into the failure of the zipper.
