Hama Beads are small, hollow, melt-together beads that can be used to create wonderful designs and beautiful artwork.
They are similar to Perler Beads, Artkal Beads, Nabbi Beads, Pyssla Beads and Aquabeads, and there are more than 50 colors across the Hama Beads range.

How to play with HAMA Beads
Before you begin:
Please note that ironing must be done by an adult or a supervised child.
Make sure that every HAMA Bead is beside another.
When you are ready:
Place Ironing Paper over the completed HAMA Beads design
Apply the iron to the Ironing Paper for a few seconds using smooth, circular movements – never hold the iron completely still
The color of the HAMA Beads will become more clearly visible through the Ironing Paper as they melt
Carefully remove the Ironing Paper, but leave the Hama Beads design to cool for a couple of minutes before removing it from the pegboard
Benefits of using HAMA Beads
When we use HAMA Beads, both sides of our brains are in action at the same time. It is both a logical and creative activity, and therefore fantastic for the developing mind.
However, there are many other reasons why Hama Beads are a wonderful activity to encourage.
For young children, HAMA Beads are a learning tool, which is not true of all toys.
Little ones begin to control their fingers and train their hand-eye coordination as they move Hama Beads the correct way to be inserted on to a pegboard.

Ich nutze es für Bügelperlen. Man kann auch verschiedene andere Sachen mit den Hama - Perlen darauf legen z. B. Glasdeckel für den Sommer, damit die Wespen nicht ins Glas fliegen.
