This hose was the perfect replacement for my Lady Lux Cafe originally installed in May of 2007. It's been a dependable and durable kitchen faucet. But the hose went Valhalla last month and I needed to replace it.A simple job for any homeowner to do, especially thanks to the handy tips I found in the reviews section.One such tip was to remove the new collar from the new hose and use the one from your old hose. Here are the other tips I copied and pasted that made the job a breeze for me:1. Remove old hose completely2. Remove the quick-connect fitted (if you have one) to be used on new hose3. Slide the long spring off the old hose being very careful not to get it tangled up. (All it has to do is touch itself and it will be tangled!) Keep it straight.4. Removed collar from new hose5. Slide old collar onto new hose (the one that comes with it may not fit your sprayer)6. Feed new hose into your goose-neck fixture7. Slide the spring onto new hose under the sink8. Replace the quick-connect fitting (with new washer)while holding the spring in place9. Reconnect to water suppy10. Reconnect Sprayer (with new washer)

Seems like a good product tio replace the replace the OEM hose that sprung a leak. Installation was easy after watching a couple of videos in earlier Amazon reviews. Anxious to see how long it lasts.

Works as well as OEM hose that I replaced. Only small issue is when retracted, it does not seat as well as OEM hose. The two nubs that allow it to fully seat don't make contact within the faucet neck. It seems the connector nut at the end of the hose and the nozzle might be slightly off tolerance of the dimensions of the OEM one. Sure, I could uninstall the new hose and try to put on the OEM nut. I may try that at a later point in time.

I bought this hose to replace the original hose in my Grohe kitchen faucet that was about 8 years old. This replacement failed in about 3 months. I bought a second one, same one, and it also failed in about 3 months. The problem is with the rubber lining - it breaks away where it connects at the end on the spray head end. I think the hose lining material used in this hose is not as durable as the material used in the original Grohe hose. I believe the lining is particularly susceptible to breakage when exposed to hot water. So, even though it is about half the price of the Grohe brand replacement, it really is not a good value. After the second one of these failed, I spent the money on an original Grohe replacement.

This unit fits the Grohe EuroDisc kitchen faucet. It is better than the original because it has a metal sheath, compared with the nylon sheath of the original.The short ferrule pictured was missing from the initial shipment, but I contacted Awelife via Amazon, and they shipped the missing part. Excellent customer service.

Easy to Install with just Basic Homeowner DIY'ers...:)Reuse Quick Connector that fits hose to Nipple under the Sink.DO NOT let the SPRING TOUCH TOGETHER when taking it off old Hose and putting it on replacement Hose.....it will instantly Tangle....Keep it Straight all the time.I just Installed yesterday 5/30/2024 so I cannot tell you its Durability...But over 1/3 Less than the $90 OEM Replacement. Hope that helps... :)
