The transformer arrived in a thin cardboard box and has a crack along the plastic housing. No mounting screws were provided, so I used some 1/4" self tapping screws. You get a bare minimum transformer that converts 120V AC to 24V AC and supports 40VA, or a max of 1.67A of current. This is enough to support aux items such as a dual UV lamp.Measured 123.3V (AC) input and 28.5V (AC) output. This transformer is driving a 1.6A load.

Put 120 volts in and 24 volts comes out. Looks well made. Most transformers seem to last forever, hopefully this one will also.
