Installation Steps
1. Disconnect the negative cable and loosen the bolt with a wrench.
2. Remove the bolt on the other side of the wiring with a bolt wrench
3. Remove the old battery sensor
4. Replace it with a new one and reconnect the cable and bolt.

This negative battery connector doubles as a voltage regulator. Most vehicles after 2008 use multiple computers that require a constant voltage of+/- 14.2 This connector tells the computer to switch the alternator on and off. This item worked as expected. Matched OEM.
