I don't believe any of the bolts are hardened which in cases of used to pull things such as damper pulleys or steering wheels over a period of time those bolts the threads will go by by plus they had separate washers usually the washer is built into the head for a boat that's going to be used with that type of a puller

Had to replace the fist one, reorder the replacement received in two days. The reason was I couldn't thread the rod into the puller flange because it was not thread correctly. Replacement work correctly. I will still recommend this puller for your application.

Would be much better if it was twice the size to do real mechanic work, very limited in what you can do with it due to its size.
