I recently used the Beeveer 75 x 79 Inch Window Insulation Kit, and here’s my review based on my experience:Packaging & ContentsThe product comes well-packaged with clear instructions. It includes a cuttable transparent film, adhesive straps, and an easy-to-follow guide on how to apply it to your windows. The film measures 75 x 79 inches, which is a good size for standard windows, and can be easily trimmed to fit smaller windows if necessary.Material & DurabilityThe film is made of thick, high-quality plastic that feels sturdy but still remains flexible for easy handling. It’s designed to be thermal insulating and waterproof, which is ideal for winterizing windows. The transparency of the film ensures that you can still let natural light into the room without obstructing your view. The material feels durable enough to withstand regular wear and tear, and I appreciate that it is reusable after the winter season.Installation ProcessI found the installation process simple but a little time-consuming. The adhesive straps were easy to apply to the window frame, and the film itself adhered securely to the straps. It’s helpful that the film is cuttable, so I was able to trim it to fit snugly on my window. The adhesive is strong enough to keep the film in place but not too difficult to remove when the season is over.PerformanceOnce the window insulation kit was installed, I immediately noticed a difference in my home’s warmth. It helped to block drafts and kept the room noticeably warmer even during colder days. The film provides a thermal barrier that traps warmth inside while keeping cold air out, which is especially helpful for areas with older windows or single-pane glass. In addition to its insulating properties, I found that the film was also waterproof, which helps prevent condensation buildup on the windows. The film’s material also adds a level of sound insulation, reducing outside noise to some extent.Energy EfficiencyThe product is designed to help with energy efficiency by reducing heat loss through windows, which can save on heating costs. After using this insulation kit for a few weeks, I observed that my heating bills seemed a bit lower, which is a nice bonus during the winter months. The warmth inside my home was much more consistent, and I didn’t feel cold drafts anymore.ReusabilityOne of the best features of this insulation kit is that it’s reusable. At the end of the winter season, I was able to remove it easily without leaving any residue or damage on my windows. I stored it carefully to use again next winter, which is a huge cost-saver compared to disposable window insulation products.Pros: • Easy to install and cut to fit various window sizes. • Good insulation properties that help retain warmth and reduce drafts. • Waterproof and soundproofing benefits. • Reusable, making it cost-effective in the long run. • Transparency allows for natural light to come in. • Affordable compared to other window insulation options.Cons: • Installation can be a bit time-consuming, especially if you have multiple windows. • The adhesive straps could be more robust for larger windows to ensure a tighter seal. • It’s not as aesthetically pleasing as more permanent solutions, but that’s expected for a temporary film.Final VerdictThe Beeveer 75 x 79 Inch Window Insulation Kit is a great solution for winterizing your windows on a budget. It provides excellent thermal insulation, is easy to install, and can be reused year after year. I noticed a reduction in drafts and warmth retention after applying it to my windows. While the installation might take a little time and effort, the benefits in energy savings and comfort are definitely worth it. If you’re looking for an effective and affordable way to keep your home warm during the colder months, this product is highly recommended.

First let me say the product works. The plastic is very thick. The velcro is cheap as I should have expected. It tears into little pieces while trying to take the adhesive backing off. So, you must have the patience of Job to get fully exposed. It goes on easily. Time will tell if the velcro sticks to the window frame and plastic but for now it is working as advertised.

I was pleasantly surprised by this rugged heavy mil reusable Window Insulation Kit. On a very cold winter afternoon, the temperature in that bedroom raised 6-8 F by this addition alone. When installing, strip at most 1 feet of the backing on the adhesive when applying it to the window frame, stripping more at a time can lead to this strong adhesive bonding to unwanted surfaces. When installing the adhesive strip to the heavy mil plastic, use a wood clamp on the ground with a 2x4 to fastening one end down and stretching the heavy mil plastic and the adhesive fastener as tight as you can. I chose to fasten the loop side of the fastener on the heavy mil plastic which allowed me to more easily adjust the finished project in small areas vs placing the loop side on the window frame, the fuzzy side on the heavy mil plastic. Remember, if you want to use 50% of this kit on one window, and the remaining 50% on another identically sized window, you'll need to purchase extra Kevlar loop-fuzz tape to finish the 2nd window insulation, if you do that. Respect the adhesive with this kit, its strong and apply it about 1 foot at a time (with the backing removed) to avoid mistakes and ugly compromises if a gust of window blows it together or the loose end bonds to areas including itself forcing a entanglement.

Liked the ease of the installation, but noticed after a while the Velcro was no longer stuck to the plastic.

It didn’t even last 5 mins. Plastic blew right off the velcro at the first small gust of wind. It stuck to window but it will not stay on the plastic. Had to just tape it myself with duck tape 😂

The plastic is a good quality and crystal clear. The double-sided tape comes in a large roll and there was more than enough for the window. It is sticking very well, and the room is noticeably warmer. Good product and good price.

Not very happy with this, the backing for the sticky side kept tearing making this five times harder than it already was. I struggled to just do one window. And then while unfolding it, I managed to puncture a hole in it with a finger nail, and mine are short and blunt! Would not buy again.
