I'm really in love with this center finding ruler. I'm usually a looks - about - right kind of measurer for hanging pictures etc. But I'm converted. I've used several times in many different ways and it makes the process so much easier. Honestly, I originally wanted the 36" version but it was out of stock. I know I needed more than 12" or 24"... Turns out this 48" is the one I really needed. Well made, well marked.

Love these and they do make woodworking much easier. I had the smaller one (24 inches) and decided that I needed this larger one as well and I am glad I bought it.

I'll keep it but I was not 100% satisfied.The advertisement is not clear. If you look closely at the images that switch when you choose the lengths at the top, you will see there are no metric markings. However, reading the details of the item below it contains this:"Metric and English CalibrationsMetric and English calibrations allow for flexible use in any situation. The 32nds calibrations in the first 6 inches of all products help give accurate measurements of even the smallest items."There are no metric markings. I bought the 48". Also it is thin enough not to be rigid. Its about 1.5mm thick.I can use it, and I will, but having seen this product I would have paid more to purchase something thicker, and also one that has metric markings on it.

I have 2 smaller center-finding rulers that are sturdy and I love them. But this one is made of much thinner metal and in my opinion it’s frustrating to use. It does the job but I don’t understand why it was not manufactured with thicker metal to be sturdier.

When it arrived, it was severely bent. At the 2" mark, the ruler was almost "L" shaped. The Box it came in was immaculate, however, SO that means that it was bent Before it was even put into the box!Very Disappointed. I'm going to have to beat it straight and Just use it as a straight edge because as an accurate ruler it will be useless do to the stretching.

IMO the lines on one side should be in precise alignment with the lines on the other side. This is a major deficiency and makes this very awkward to use for certain types of measuring. Plus, the misalignment was slight, about 1/64th which is even worse if you assume they are aligned when doing a layout. Useless for my particular project.
