I bought these for color backgrounds in my art work, hoping that they would work like the more expensive gel crayons and hesitated because of the lower price. I am very happy with this set. There are 48 beautiful colors and they are creamy, go down very smoothly with no streaking. I use brushes to dry brush them on and they work perfectly for that purpose. I love that they are so easy to clean up and so far, I see no need for more expensive crayons since these work so well. Some of the more expensive sets have many fewer colors, so I'm very pleased to have so many to choose from. They come in a sturdy case and the clips inside the case hold the crayons very snugly in place. Lots of quality for the price.

These are so much fun! Our granddaughter loved these. We paired these with some water brushes and she was able have a great watercolor effect.

Vibrant colors. Easy to use. Minus 1 star as colors stain clothes. Used Zote soap bar and didn’t come out.

I was excited about these. They're basically lipstick crayons. They're soft and so apply like lipstick. While it feels good at how easy it glides on the paper, the colors transfers from the paper to the skin, fabric and other surfaces. The colors are very vibrant.

You use these like oil pastels, they're not like wax crayons. Its difficult to color fine and small line drawings because the colors will mix if you overlap them.
