I ordered this pulley as part of a system to lift and store a small sailboat overhead in my garage. Other components included several other pulleys, a hand winch, and 1/8 inch wire rope. The pulley is very well made of machined stainless steel with stainless steel ball bearings. The pulley, although a industrial type item, is attractive and could be adapted to interior applications in my opinion. The wheel has a deep V groove (rather than the circular type track) for the wire rope. This allows the pulley to accommodate some variation of angle of the wire to the pulley without the wire jumping out of the track. In summary, a very nice pulley at a reasonable price.

I mounted this on my ceiling and used a stainless steel cable to thread through the pulley to help me lift items while working on my self-build gocart. It worked wonderfully and I'm thinking of getting a few more and putting them in a series to make the pulling easier.

The bearings in this are great! They appear to be sealed and really make this run super smooth. The mounting frame is stamped stainless and the edges are unfinished and may be a little rough or sharp in spots.

I'm using this pulley as part of a hoist system for my Jeep hardtop. The pulley itself has very high quality replaceable dual bearing and deep V grooves which allow for less than perfect alignment without the possibility of the cable untracking. The mounting holes are big enough for good sized bolts (I used 1/4-20 stainless) and I'm very confident in the strength of materials in this pulley. Recommended.

SHINICO 48mm Cable Pulley. Beautifully machined wheel and the mount is high grade steel. The bearing makes it silky smooth in action. This is exactly what I needed to repair/refurbish a cargo hoist for my truck.

This pulley is very sturdy and can handle a lot of weight - sorry, I do not know what it is rated for, but this looks and feels like it can handle a lot! The rolling mechanism is VERY smooth. This should last a very long time for most applications.
