I had looked at similar products on Amazon, Ebay and even Googling. Everyone of them stated it would only work with compatible phones in their list. I could find no list that included my ATT phone. I even checked ATT. Since this included three different adapters, I decided to try it - it was a throw-away at that price. When I got it I tried all three adapters and none worked. BUT then I noticed the 3.5mm plug wasn't fully seated. I pushed it a bit harder and it worked perfectly with adapter 3 . I have very impaired hearing, but the sound was loud enough for me to easily hear. I read all 1 star reviews saying their sound was weak or missing. I think this device may work, but be careful to make your connections tight. 4P4C RJ9/RJ10 3.5mm headset adapter for TRRS plugs.

I tried all the adapter and the original. 2 I could hear the call but all 4 could not hear me. Returned. Super disappointed because other adapters work with usb types but not this specific rj9 adapter

Great item and although there’s no instructions in the package, it’s pretty much the opposite of rocket science. There’s 3 plugs (numbered 1,2 & 3) and one connector/jack. I started with plug 1, added the connector/jack, plugged in my buds and bingo, worked first time.I’ve been told by a colleague that I should cycle through the other jacks if I start getting static or interference.

Using the "#1" adapter pigtail this works well with a Cisco CP-8841 desk phone.I had to use trial and error to find the right pigtail, without any adapter-pigtail it had a loud whistle and with the #2 and #3 I had no audio at least one direction. With the #1 pigtail it seemed to work well and good call quality.It looks a bit hacky but gets the job done for a reasonable cost.

Did not work with Cisco CP-7841-K9 phone. Two of the supplied connectors (there are 3 total) had a faint audio in the headset, but no voice pickup from the microphone.

Bought as a backup option for work at home and it is definitely worth every penny and more. Was able to use a normal headset with the callany phone and the quality was amazing.

Worked perfectly with my Cisco 8841 model VOIP phone required for my job. I can use my regular GE universal headset with it. Sounds comes through nice and clear, callers can hear me without any problem.
