Good price for 4 count of square bottom Stainless Steel U-bolts and nutsThese are very high quality square bottom Stainless Steel U-bolts and nuts. The manufacturer must have high Quality Control inspection standards because all the parts were flawless. Stainless Steel easily galls if you do not have the proper lubrication on the threads. I am using these to hold down a tongue mounted tool box. I did not want to drill holes in the critical strength area of the trailer tongue. So, I wrapped the tongue beam from underneath to clamp the tongue mounted tool box in place.

I bought these to attach a deflector panel to the back of my motorhome. The threads on the u bolts was bad, so they could not be tightened. They started fine, no cross threading and after about an inch or so, they completely locked up. I even tried an impact wrench with no luck. Now they are so stuck that I have yet to figure out how to get them off.

I used these to attach the bunk brackets to my galvanized trailer to add center pontoon bunks .They are the right width,length and thickness to hold the brackets securely.I am a price shopper and these were cheaper for same item from a boat shop or trailer supply store.Would definitely buy again

I measured with a caliper the inside diameter is only a little tiny bit over 3 inches not 3 and 1/8 as advertised I use them and they work well heavy duty but false advertising because they are not 3 and 1/8 inches they are 3.02 inches ID.

First thing they’re not 3 1/8 they’re smaller. Second thing the lock nuts are a one time use they will not come off. Third thing the u-bolts will break or bend easily when trying to get the locknuts off. Seriously do NOT buy these

Locking nuts are defective. Nuts will go on but as you tighten it gets hard to turn and could not tighten all the way or take it off. Bent one trying to take the nut off and cut one off. Had to use different nuts to secure bolt and double nut the end.

Thread quality is poor. Douse with antseize if you intend to back nut off at all.

Very good looking parts. Nice clean threads and bends. The reason people are having issues with the threads is because stainless steel is bad for galling! When stainless is mated to stainless without lubrication, it rubs and seizes together. As a machinist I see this too much. Use a good quality anti-seize before assembling and save yourself some headaches.

After installing and tightening the product we had to adjust and move the brackets. 3 out of 4 had several seized nuts on the stainless threads and had to be cut off. $80 gone in an instant. I would have preferred to deal with the manufacturer but the return window is so short it was over before I installed the product and could not contact the manufacturer. No other recourse than a poor review.

This is a good quality product. I don't think all the reviewers that had the nuts seize on the bolts are experienced with stainless hardware. I have built Firetrucks and been in the marine industry as well as carry a HD Mechanic certification.When you have stainless nuts going on stainless bolts especially nylock nuts you Must use a lubricant light oil AND install with a variable drill or manually. DO NOT use impacts they will make the stainless gawl up and seize! One other thing stainless bolts are a low grade and will break fairly easy. I had no problem installing this product on my boat trailer.

Quality and all look good but when measuring they are only 2†inside. I can’t use them
