These are perfect. Super easy to put together, just need a small Phillips head, very sturdy and easy instructions for putting them together. If you’re looking for a sturdy little easel for an 5.5†x8.5†book display, this is worth every penny!

They were sturdy and they held up a 8x8 canvas with no problem. I tested it on a 11x14 and it seemed sturdy enough.

We had a painting day and someone recommended easels. Wow did these make a difference. So fun to up our game. They are sturdy, never fell over and made it easier to paint.

I purchased these for my 6 and 3-year-olds to do painting projects. Unfortunately, because they are small and lightly constructed, they don't always stay up when my kids are painting on them. They are made of a very light wood or wood composite so when my kids are painting/pushing on the canvas, the easel gets pushed away from them. My kids are young so they don't have as much control with how much pressure they put on the canvas, so it may be a better purchase for younger kids. I just found them too light. They come in several pieces and are easy to put together. So that's a plus. The support arm of the easel also tends to slip, sometimes resulting in the easel falling flat. On one of the easels, you can adjust the tension on that arm to make it more steady, but on another one, it just won't tighten at all. So I would say the quality isn't really there.
