These work very well in soft and hard wood. They are sharp unlike other ones I've had. Nice smooth cut in wood. They do clog with wood chips but easy enough to clean out. Good purchase.

I’ve tried a couple of other products and they just gave a rough finish. These work great. Super smooth and very sharp. Finally found something that works.

Good quality steel. Worked well for me to cut counter sink bolt holes in steel. They didn't stay centered on the hole as well as I expected. But it was asking a lot for a single cutter chamfer tool.

I don't usually write reviews but I just had to for these bits. I don't always need the highest quality tools for my work but I had a project that required a lot of work on 316 stainless and needed some high quality taper bits. I had gone through several at that point but I gave these a shot thinking I would likely be disappointed but wow I was not. These are very hard and cut cleanly through the 316 with ease. Not only that but they lasted through the entire project. I want to buy a second set in case they go away but with how well these are lasting not sure I need to. So I thought I could do the next best thing and write a review so hopefully they can keep sales up so they continue to sell these. These are super high quality tools from Amazon so please give them a shot before you end up with the junk that wont last a single cut. This set comes in 3 sizes so it's basically a one time purchase that will last in your tool set for many years under normal use.

I was installing 1/4' Concreteboard for a tile project and the screws for the concreteboard were supposed to self countersink but some would and some wouldn't. A light touch with these counter sinks and now all the screws are .020-.030 below the surface. 500 screws later these countersink are still sharp.

This countersink is invaluable in my Woodworking shop. I've used it to countersink many, many holes in both hardwood, aluminum, polycarbonate and sheet metal. It stays sharp and doesn't clog easily. Using the right pressure and speed, this tool will last a long time.

Smooth & clean bore with no chatter. If you’ve long suffered through work with old fashioned multi-fluted bits, this is a game changer. So sorry I didn’t discover these earlier.
