This is obviously my favorite chipping hammer. I bought this because its got a fine point for those hard-to reach welds. After watching attending a couple YouTube Trade School videos, I realized that I've been "haranguing" the stuffing out of my welds. By a cheap grinder and fit it with a knoyyed wire wheel and buy one of these for when that doesn't work.

Well made, seems to be hard enough to hold up and it feels good in the hand. Should’ve gotten one a long time ago.

My neighbors get a kick out of me. Every spring for the past few years, I will have several tons of Tennessee Thin Stack (stone) delivered to my house. I enjoy landscaping and like to build things from stone.This is a neat rock pick... good for nipping around the edges or splitting off sections. The feel and balance are good... the grip is comfortable... and it does a nice job. It seems fairly priced for the quality you get.

Right out of the box I was pissed. As soon as I use this it’s going to split because of the crack in the point. Don’t waste your money. Buy American.

This is a single forged hammer so there is no chance of the head flying off. I'm a novice welder and have been using the spring handle chip hammer that came with my welding rig which I've always felt was too light. This hammer feels like it’s the opposite. Weighing 28 oz, it’s a serious hammer and larger than I’m accustomed to using. I am sure it will do the job.On another note, the pick end got me curious about using it as a rock pick. I kill time looking for shell fossils on our property, took it out for a try and love it. Without a doubt I’ll be carrying this on my future fossil searches.
