Years ago I had a set of these when I made a recipe file for Home Ec. They were great to keep recipe cards clean when cooking. When my daughter took Home Ec. a couple years ago, I thought of these and looked for them on Amazon. When I found them, I bought enough for both of us as I had long since needed more. They feel like a plastic page protector for a notebook, the plastic is very clear, not cloudy. They fit 5 x 7 index cards. I have been using them for over a year and they have held up great no splits or tears in them. If I spill on the recipe card, it can be wiped clean. I am pleased.

This is a nice set. Cards and sleeves to protect from splatter, oil/grease and spills. Good card stock, not like cheap construction paper or anything. Happy with purchase.

I have all of my moms old recipe cards and wanted to protect them. I went ahead and ordered these sleeves to put the recipe cards in and they work perfectly.

These provide a nice level of protection to your recipe cards while also allowing the cards to be removed for revisions or notes, unlike lamination. The pouches do not add sturdiness to the cards, just a layer of protection. They are very thin, but get the job done nicely.

For protecting a recipe card, this is a nice inexpensive system. For teachers who want to create a word wall, they are too fragile.
