Since 2000, I received a Kitchen Aid Food Processor as a new housewarming gift, it is a work horse! I love it. The problem is it is so heavy! But well made at that time. Now as we enter 2024, I decided to simplify my life in the kitchen as I was always chopping, dicing, or shredding by hand.My husband & I have been on keto since 2017, and have never needed a medical professional since we both lost over 100 pounds.. I grow my own veggies, make my own sauces, and the local farm provides grass feed beef, & dairy mostly heavy creams & cheeses. No processed foods here… I do a lot of backing to, breads, pastry’s pies all keto.I looked for a cheese shredder, and found this one that has stainless steel sharp shredding cones. Read reviews and the majority loved this shredder!I ordered it and received it quickly! I washed it out, and read over the instructions and put it together in a snap!I set my bowl under the shredding cone, and started shredding with the larger cup that goes in the shredder very easy and locks in place. They provide 5 shredding cone shaped cup sizes for your shredding needs.The largest one shredded my cheese too thick. I tried next size down. Perfect taco style shreds!(See Photos)This gadget has made my cooking life so much easier! I also added an electric chopper/Dicer glass & stainless steal, a mandolin slicer, and a stainless steel French fry press with great reviews.I’m all set and love how easy it is for me to prepare meals for us or guests! I love my new cheese grater 5 in 1 . easy to use for a person that has no patience's (as i am) and does the job quickly and it is awesome . Electric with push button. I only use block cheese it did a wonderful job and it also cuts up vegetables and it worked really wonderful . Get yourself one today , you will be glad you did ! No more scraping your hands on a hand grater or slippery hands on a rotary cheese shredder . There is a photo of the electric grater and grated cheese . Easy to clean, easier to clean the movable parts . I love it . Thank you Amazon!

I am able to use the chocolate grinder to grate Parmesan into a soft fluffy grated pile like found in stores vs the shredding in minutes with very little effort. Works like a charm, very satisfied and highly recommend buying the higher power rated unit vs the smaller offered at time of purchase as an option.

We bought this item primarily to grate cheeses. We've found that the cheeses that we buy in brick form and grate at home are much more delicious than the packaged grated cheese. The packaged grated cheeses must have something on them to keep them from sticking together. We've noticed that the cheeses that we grate ourselves melts much more easily and even tastes better. This grater does a great job with the coarse and fine grating cups. The slicing cups for veggies are not quite coarse enough. We'd like a cup that would make a little thicker slice. But...still very good. Easy assembly and easy clean-up.

Food (celery, cucumber, cheese) all got stuck between the grate piece and the power that holds it so it doesn’t actually shred/slide. You have to take it sister to remove that and then start over. Also, it has to shred into a small bowl or onto a plate due to the height. It can work for small jobs but I need something better.
