Bought this step as an aid for my mom to get into large SUVs. It worked like a dream for two times. However the 3rd time mom stepped on it (using by the bathroom sink) the srep buckled inward and cracked into pieces. Had I not been standing next to her, she would have taken a very serious, hard fall! (My mom is tiny. Maybe 5' tall and 120 pounds soaking wet so this failure was NOT due to excess weight) I wanted to write a positive review and give 5 stars but when they they broke. I feel like I need to fore warn potential buyers that they do not last even a month!!! Please be very cautious if considering this item.

I have a condition where I need to extend my leg to clear the joint. I throw this apparatus out the car door and step into it and once through I chuck it back into the car, easy peasy. This has become an invaluable crutch for an old decrepit man.

Due to a combination of height and physical ailments, it is difficult for my wife to get in and out of her Mazda Tribute. I made a step for her that helped get in the passenger side, but it was bulky and heavy. She wasn't able to use it for the driver's side when she needed to drive herself. I saw this folding step on Amazon and decided to give it a try for her. We received it and I tied a cord to it. Now she is able to use it to get in and then pick it up by the cord. It folds as she picks it up and she can put it on the seat beside her.

I thought this little step stool would be good for my husband who is in decline to help him step into the shower over the ledge. I received it quickly but when I set it by the shower to use as a step in, good thing that I tried it myself, one foot up and it collapsed and the legs broke off. I twisted my ankle with the collapse but I am not hurt as is not a high stool and I am not heavy. Yes, I properly opened it and set it on a level floor. This is not a safe product for my use. I would like to send it back for a refund
