We bought this set as a way to keep air moving through our boat over the winter while it's in storage outside under a cover. We mounted the panel (about 15 watts) out on the anchor which extends beyond the tarp. The panel faces south at about a 43 degree angle backwards (an efficient winter solar angle for Chicago). We then ran the wires under the cover and in through a slightly open window. The two fans are mounted on a plywood board in the main hallway and are pointed to keep the air 'stirred up' through the boat. It's remarkable how effective it is at keeping the air moving, not a lot but enough. The kit was very reasonably priced and of very adequate quality. If you have an application where you need to keep a bit of air moving, and have access to sunlight at that location (medium shed, chicken coup, dog house--the list is long), you can do much worse than this product. Very highly recommended.

The fans work well however I would pay attention to the measurements of the 2 fans. They are very small. I have a 12x12 coop and they did nothing for air flow. They ate powerful. They do come with hardware to properly install however I just laid my solar panel on a flat surface by the coop instead of drilling holes in my roof. The cables that come with it are long so that’s a plus. Good product just make sure the size of the fans works best for your size coop.

These only work when the sun hits it. But that is in the description. It works great and helped keep our coop cooler in the 120 degree heat we had last summer

Great product!! Using this in our chicken coop and it's perfect. Helps keep our chicken coop cooler in the hot weather! Good air flow, good power! Perfect size. It's not loud. Can change the direction of the solar panel. Definitely recommend this product.

Great product and the fans work well during the day! I didn’t realize there is no battery system, so as soon as the sun goes down they turn off. That’s a pain in hot Houston and I wish they still worked in the evenings. However, they installed nicely into the hole I cut in my coop and the noise is low.

For the price, this little kit works well in my storage shed. I cut some holes for a vent, then put a hole in each side of the vent and attached the fans from this kit using a cable tie. It does have airflow, although not as much as I'd like, it truly depends on how bright the sun is that day. Because there is no battery with this kit, the fans only work when the sun is shining. The brighter the sun, the stronger the airflow. If you're looking for a fan that will blow even in dusk, this may not be the best choice. But if you need a simple kit that helps move air in/out on a hot day, this is great for that. Overall I'm happy with it. Easy to install. I didn't like the parts that came with it to mount the solar panel, but I used my own screws and washers and it was fine. For the price, it's good.

** As an update: This company read my review and immediately let me know that they're giving me a full refund and apologized that their product was not satisfactory. To me, this speaks integrity as I didn't expect a refund at all because I had missed the return date due to not being able to test it out. Our long, stormy weather and time constraints hampered me from being able to do so. I just appreciate that this company cared enough to make good...so a huge thank you to them for standing up for the consumer and being supportive! Previous review: Installed and hoped it would work. With 2 fans on, it barely moves any air. Turning one of the fans off, the other does push harder but still not enough to do the job. Barely a whisper of a breeze. Would have returned had I known but the weather prevented me from installing it until it was too late to try it out. A huge disappointment.
