I ordered a light that was identical to this one except with multi-colored lights. It was very noisy and the lights did not change they just flickered. I was hesitant to order this one but I very pleased.The light has 3 positions: Steady light-no rotation, Off, Steady light with rotation. (in that order).There is just enough light to make your piece look well presented but no so much that it over-powers it.This is the light I will use.

I used it as a display for an etched glass dolphin tower. Wonderful! The dolphins appear to be swimming around with the turning motion. Very pleased!!

This led display base comes in a choice of silver or black. You can also choose between an all white led model or led multi color change model for either silver or black base. The top is a smooth mirror. You can display with or without rotation. The rotation is slow and steady to best show off your presentation and it is totally silent. It comes with an adapter cord or you can choose to use 3 AA batteries. The glass wave ball in the picture is 3.1 inches and covers the white lights exactly. Highly recommend this affordable led display base.

I bought this one to replace the other one I bought from another company which melted after one use. This one work great, the weight is very light but sturdy great value for what I need it for.
