We call these goofy jigs down here in Florida. They work good in the surf and in other locations where you have a clean bottom free of snags. The quality of these jigs is as good as any other goofy jig I've seen. The hooks are nice and sharp.

While these are traditionally used for pompano down south, I have wanted to try jigs like these for scup (porgy) and black seabass in New England for a few years.They appear to be very well made jigs for the price

Build quality is solid with sharp hooks however being from China, the assumption is they use lead paint to color the teaser jigs. Packaging has a warning label from state of California stating chemicals used are known to cause cancer.
